We celebrate Harvest every year in the Parish around the end of September - dates vary. We always have a 10.30am family oriented service where everyone is invited to bring their gifts and we have a lively service of thanksgiving. Proceeds are usually donated to Birmingham City Mission.
We also have two further traditional Harvest Thanksgiving services that are held in consecutive evenings at 6.00pm. During these services, we have a choir that will lead the worship.
ALL are welcome to join in the services and also to join the choir.
Soul Café is a café style meeting held in our schools - we rotate around with a different school each term. It runs monthly during the school term. Dates will be on the Home page.
It is aimed at families and is suitable for young children but also great fun for the young at heart of any age. We use puppets, sing fun songs, get messy with craft, have quizzes and lots more interactive things. We have a theme for each meeting and there is always some sort of focal 'talk' that is accessible to all. We aim to start promptly at 10.30 and be finished by 11.30.
One of the joys of this meeting is that we have drinks and snacks (including fruit) and a break midway to catch up with friends.
Come and join us - all are welcome.
